Andrew Pickup MICFor is an independent Chartered Forester working throughout Herefordshire and the surrounding counties. Andrew graduated with a first class honours degree in Forestry in from Bangor University and started his career in the East Midlands, before moving to Herefordshire in 2013 to work for a leading woodland management company, where he was responsible for a diverse portfolio of farm and estate woodlands. After nine years Andrew took a career break to travel the world before returning to Herefordshire to work as an independent forestry consultant. Andrew has a particular interest in mixed lowland silviculture, novel tree species and the design of resilient new woodlands for the future.
